Indoor carpet bowls is a very popular event. Every Thursday evening there is a social game at the club. The club has 4 indoor mats and the bowls used are scaled down to the size of the mat (rink). Often all 4 mats are used to cater for the crowd. Indoor carpet bowls is a challenging game and attracts a close following. Come along and enjoy to this social event.

If you are serious about indoor carpet bowls, Drouin enters a team in the Mid Gippsland Indoor Bias Bowls Association (MGIBBA) indoor pennant competition. At present our Drouin team are enjoying top spot on the pennant ladder. The competition is a 14 week season and games are played every Monday evening with games being played both at Drouin and away at other participating clubs. With Drouin in the top spot at the moment, the coming final series looks good for the home side.

If you are interested in a social game on Thursday evening just roll up at the club or call Anne Sadowski on 0423 155 077. Anne will be delighted to talk to you regarding indoor carpet bowls.

Fish and chip nights are held at the club between October and the following April. These nights are very popular, and bookings are required. Around 100 people attend each event and the function attracts people from outside the club. Members and visitors alike agree the evening is both memorable and tasty.
